OUR TEAM

The West Valley Eagles Track Club, Inc. is a non-profit 501 C-3 youth athletic organization dedicated to helping kids develop leadership skills, self-motivation, and discipline through healthy competition in track and field.  We strive to guide athletes of all skill levels to pursue and surpass personal and team goals while competing with peers in a positive environment.

Founded in 1971 with just a couple of coaches and a handful of kids, the Club has evolved into one of the most respected local youth sports programs, and the launching point for many world class athletes and Olympic medal winners. With dedicated volunteer coaches, supportive parents, generous sponsors, and motivated athletes, the West Valley Eagles Track and Field Club has helped thousands of kids soar.

FAQs

When are practices?
Beginning February 11, 2019, practices for all divisions will be held on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm. Practices will be held at Crespi Carmalite Hight School in Encino and Taft High School in Woodland Hills.


How old does my child have to be to run?
Athletes must be 4 years old by December 31, 2019 in order to run on a VYC team. If your child is in high school, they can run with us as long as they are not running on their high school track team.


How long is the season?
The VYC regular track season begins on March 9th and the league championship is on May 11th.


What teams will we run against?
As a member of the Valley Youth Conference, we will compete against VYC track clubs, which are listed on the home page.
